Peter J. Morant, Executive Consultant

Peter Morant, Executive Consultant to FS Associates, Inc. is an asset management professional who has been with UBS and its predecessor companies for over 25 years until his retirement in 2007. He has experience both on the buy side and on the sell side. On the sell side, he has served as Head of European Equities Trading and Sales in London, and was one of the senior Swiss Bank Corporation executives that successfully integrated O'Connor into the bank. On the buy side, he was instrumental in Swiss Bank Corporation's first effort to enter the US institutional market in the 1980's, and as CIO generated credibility in the market place and was able to generate an acclaimed track record. At UBS Global Asset Management, in the early years of the Brinson acquisition, he integrated the SBC clients into the merged entity. He has later served as Chief of Staff to the CIO, as well as the Controller for the investments functions. Peter has earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and also holds a graduate business degree from the University of St. Gallen Switzerland.
